I Love primitives! Yes, I am 42 yrs old and finally able to admit it. I started my married life at age 27. I loved country and prim decor then and decorated my first home this way. Then, I was influenced by friends and others my age who seemed to transmit the idea that antiques, baskets, cute lil prim dolls and such just weren’t the trend. I didn’t want to be set apart from everyone at that time (why I don’t know), so the change began.

Shortly thereafter we moved and gradually I began to replace my loved antiques with more modern, (acceptable for my age) decor.
Well, I never could quite find my style again and I’m finally ready to admit why……..I Love Antiques!!! You can take the girl out of the flea market, but you can’t take the flea market out of the girl. So, here I am, rediscovering my hidden love and finding even more primitive things that I just adore, These things just give me such a feeling of comfort and serenity. I can’t wait to begin my new journey!!
